Hawaiian Bodywork

This is one of the best massages you will ever experience! In the Hawaiian language, Lomi Lomi means to press or knead, but this massage is so much more. Hawaiian Lomi Lomi incorporates long, flowing strokes using the forearms, elbows, wrists and hands in a continuous, fluid, rhythmic motion that can energize and ground you at the same time.

Hawaiian Bodywork is a cleansing, powerful massage that may assist in balancing you on many levels – physical, emotional and spiritual.

Pregnancy Massage

Our special pregnancy massage table allows you to be comfortably massaged right throughout your pregnancy, and be relieved of any accompanying aches and pains. Mums-to-be can experience the comfort of a custom designed table that safely allows lying face down to receive the benefits of massage.  The table width is greater than normal, so you can feel comfortable in any position.  Nurture yourself and your blossoming babe with a beautiful treatment that will smooth away tension in the body and create a calming space to truly connect.  Read more here.

Relaxation Massage

Allow your body and soul to simply relax, and be.

Remedial Massage

Not for the faint-hearted. Focused, deep work.

Thai Massage / Polynesian Floor Work

This is an oil free, fully clothed massage that focuses on loosening your joints, muscles and tendons. You will feel stretched, relaxed, more flexible and focused. Thai Massage has been described as a “passive yoga”- the therapist assists you to stretch and structurally re-align your body as if you were participating in a yoga class, except in this case, it is your job simply to receive!

We see the benefit of, and include stretching techniques into our regular bodywork, although bodywork sessions are not dedicated to only Thai Massage.

To treat your feet is to treat your body! In a reflexology session, the fingers and thumbs are used to apply pressure to reflex points on your feet. These points correspond to different organs and systems within your body, and pressure can release blockages and restore free flow of energy, helping to maintain your body’s natural equilibrium and encourage healing. This gentle therapy encourages the body to work naturally to restore its own healthy balance.

I see the value of, and enjoy incorporating aspects of reflexology into every bodywork session, although I do not offer treatments dedicated to Reflexology only.
